Self-Loading Reel Trailers

Over the course of our 30 year history in the trailer manufacturing industry, Brooks Brothers Trailers has become the leading trailer manufacturer that utility and construction professionals turn to for their trailer needs. Brooks Brothers' trailers are designed for long life, hard use, easy maintenance and extreme versatility.

Among the Brooks Brothers line of reel trailers is our self-loading series. We offer two basic self loading lines: the SLR series and the SLRT series. The SLR series operates with dual high-output hand pumps. These hand pumps operate at a speed of about two to three times faster than most of our competitors. The SLRT series operates off the truck's tool circuit or a self-contained hydraulic system mounted on the trailer. The SLRT series can be equipped with a 12" or 16" tensioning brake and a hydraulic take-up unit for retrieving outdated or abandoned lines. The SLRT series can also be equipped with our 8" overspin brake unit.
